Chasing the Star Garden Tour: Dec 29 - Jan 4

Blurb:

An opium-addicted beauty.
An infamous poet living in self-imposed exile.
An ancient treasure about to fall into the wrong hands.

Melanie Karsak's Chasing the Star Garden takes readers on a thrilling adventure from the gritty opium dens of gaslamp London to the gem-colored waters of the ancient world. Lily Stargazer, a loveable but reckless airship racer with a famous lover and shattered past, reluctantly plunges into a centuries-old mystery in a romantic adventure best described as Dan Brown meets Mary Shelley.

It all begins on one of the worst days of Lily’s life. She just lost the London leg of the 1823 Airship Grand Prix. To top it off, a harlequin fleeing from constables shoved a kaleidoscope down her pants, told her to fly to Venice, then threw himself from her airship tower. What’s a girl to do? For Lily, the answer is easy: drink absinthe and smoke opium.

Lily’s lover, Lord Byron, encourages her to make the trip to Venice. Lily soon finds herself at the heart of an ancient mystery which has her running from her past and chasing true love and the stars along the way.

Mate of the Alpha Tour: Oct 27 - Nov 9

Blurb:
Ethan Scott was reluctant to claim his mate, Lily Reynolds. He was afraid his carnal needs would be too much for the curvy innocent. His wolf was of another mind, pushing the man relentlessly to mate. But Ethan knew once he had the brown-haired beauty there would no turning back. He’d claim her, mate her, and bred her. When she’s attacked by a group of rouge wolves, Ethan fears he has left his claiming too late and will lose his mate forever. When he comes to her rescue, he discovers the spirited Lily is more than ready to be the mate of an alpha.
Lily Reynolds has been crushing on her boss since she started work at Wolfe Enterprises six months ago. She knew the chances of attracting the wolf into a long-term relationship were slim to none – slim being a state she hadn’t achieved since childhood. She loved her curves and knew there was someone out there who would love every soft, luscious inch of her voluptuous body. Heartbroken, she knew Ethan Scott wasn’t that man despite the hot and cold signals the wolf shifter had been given her for months.

Tour Stop & Interview - Samantha Chase's Montgomery Brothers Series

Who Doesn't Love the Chance to Interview a NY Times & USA Today Best Selling Author? Let us share what we learned about Samantha Chase!

About the Author:
New York Times and USA Today Bestseller/contemporary romance writer Samantha Chase released her debut novel, Jordan's Return, in November 2011. Although she waited until she was in her 40's to publish for the first time, writing has been a lifelong passion. Her motivation to take that step was her students: teaching creative writing to elementary age students all the way up through high school and encouraging those students to follow their writing dreams gave Samantha the confidence to take that step as well.

Her second book, a holiday novella titled "The Christmas Cottage" hit #10 on Amazon's Overall Best Seller List on Christmas Eve. It was a great Christmas gift! Watching the numbers rise and fall is a daily roller coaster ride but definitely an exciting one! And on February 25th, she released the follow up novella - "Ever After".
In March 2013, "The Christmas Cottage" was nominated for two Indie Romance Convention Award - Best Indie Romance Novella and Best Indie Contemporary Romance while Samantha was nominated for Indie Author of the Year! In August 2013, the video trailer for "Wait for Me" won an Oscar for Indie Author Book Trailer!
More titles quickly followed: "Catering to the CEO", "Wait for Me" (Montgomery Brothers book 1), "Trust in Me" (Montgomery Brothers book 2), "In the Eye of the Storm", and "Stay With Me" (Montgomery Brothers book 3) and she shows no signs of slowing down. "Catering to the CEO" was included in the romance bundle "Loving the CEO" - a five-book package - that made the New York Times and the USA Today Bestseller list. The second half of 2013 has Samantha planning another five releases.
When she's not working on a new story, she spends her time reading contemporary romances, blogging, playing way too many games of Scrabble on Facebook and spending time with her husband of 24 years and their two sons in North Carolina.

Fangtastic: So tell us a little about yourself and what you like to do when you're not writing?
Samantha: When I'm not writing? When is that? Let's see, I've been married for 24 years, have two amazing sons (ages 21 and 13) and writing has been my passion my entire life. I just never thought that I could make a living at it! When I'm not writing, I enjoy spending time with my family, scrapbooking, reading, and I am addicted to Scrabble and computer Solitaire!

Fangtastic: When and what made you decide to become an author?
Samantha: Writing has been my passion for my entire life. I wrote my first short story in the third grade, read my first Harlequin book in the 7th grade and wrote my first romance (hand written!) in the 9th grade! I always wanted to write but didn't think that I was talented enough to do it. It wasn't until I was teaching creative writing to home schoolers that I realized that I had so many stories in me waiting to come out! I was encouraging my students to write, why wasn't I?

Fangtastic: What is one interesting thing people would be surprised to know about you?
Samantha: Hmmm...I don't know if it's interesting but it's funny. I am terrified of the cartoon "Underdog". I can't watch it, can't see pictures from it...I'm almost 45 years old and I still can't do it! My older son thinks that it's hysterical!

Fangtastic: Which character was your favorite to create and why?
Samantha: In "Catering to the CEO", the male lead, Adam Lawrence, was my favorite. He was just the type of alpha male that was fun to write and had my emotions all over the place. One minute I was sighing and the next minute I wanted to strangle him! Readers seemed to love him, too!

Fangtastic: If you could cast any actress and actor for your leading characters who would they be?
Samantha: Ooo...I love this question and yet it stumps me every time because I don't watch a lot of TV or go to the movies so I'm not up on who is big in Hollywood right now! For my book "Ever After", I pictured Josh Duhamel and Blake Lively as Ava and Brian. In "A Touch of Heaven" I could imagine Jennifer Lawrence as Regan and Charlie Hunnam or Alex Pettyfer as Sawyer. And I don't know who I would cast as Lacey in "The Christmas Cottage" but I would LOVE to see Henry Cavill as Ean!

Fangtastic: Do you ever get writer's block? What do you do when it happens?
Samantha: Writer's block is so frustrating because I can sit and agonize all day about a scene or a character or anything and then when I am mentally and physically exhausted and finally crawl into bed, THAT'S when I think the most creatively! I've tried just staying up later but it doesn't work. My brain has to shut down quite a bit before I can actually allow myself to think clearly. Does that make sense?

Fangtastic: What is the best piece of advice you received from someone?
Samantha: To stay true to what I write. Contemporary romances really seemed to take a back seat to the erotica flooding the market after the success of the Fifty Shades series and while that's fine for some people, I enjoy reading and writing contemporary romances. I may not be writing in the top genre but it's what I enjoy writing. I may never get the commercial success that other authors do but I was true to myself.

Fangtastic: What advice would you give to an aspiring author?
Samantha: Don't wait for "the perfect time". There is no real perfect time. I was unemployed for two years and didn't write a thing. THAT would have been the perfect time to do it. It wasn't until I participated in NaNo WriMo and wrote "The Christmas Cottage" and decided to just put it out there that I realized that there was an audience for my work. Sit down and write! Don't wait. You'll most likely never have the perfect writing environment or the top of the line computer or even the time but don't let that stop you. Write, write, write!

Wow! What wonderful advice from talented author, Samantha Chase. Thanks so much for stopping by. Now, let us introduce you to her latest release!

Tired of waiting for the time to be right, she takes advantage of her boss’s generous offer for a little weekend getaway to thank her for helping out with a difficult business deal.
Unless you’re still running from your past…
Former NFL superstar Lucas Montgomery is still suffering from a career-ending injury. His self-imposed exile from life is exactly what he wants; a sanctuary where there’s no chance for disappointment or distractions and that’s exactly the way he likes it. While his family has been patiently waiting for Lucas to come around and embrace life once again, they don’t realize that it wasn’t just his career that was lost, but his sense of identity.
…And afraid to hope for the future
Lucas thought everything was fine until sweet, sexy and completely off-limits Emma Taylor comes crashing into his carefully constructed world one snowy weekend and turns his entire life upside down.
Was Mother Nature really to blame or did someone else lend a hand?

For three years Maggie Barrett has happily hid in the shadows of Montgomery’s. But now she’s thrown into the spotlight as Jason’s assistant because he believes her to be a safe choice because she’s married.
The only problem?
She’s not.
Working in close proximity wasn’t supposed to be an issue. The lines of their relationship were clearly defined. But when a mutual respect turns into a mutual attraction how will Maggie explain that the only thing holding Jason back was just a little white lie?
Book two in The Montgomery Brothers Trilogy, “Trust in Me” is a 45,000 word contemporary romance novella. See where it all began with Lucas and Emma’s story in book one, “Wait for Me”.

Stay With Me, Montgomery Brothers Series #3

He hadn't counted on his father not wanting to set him up with anyone.
And he hadn't counted on Gina Micelli.
After more than a dozen years away from her beloved family friends, Gina Micelli comes home to take care of her ailing father. Some of her most cherished memories are of the times she spent with the Montgomerys - and her crush on Mac. She was a child when she moved away, but now as a grown woman, the thought of seeing Mac again actually has her wondering at the possibilities.
Ever the responsible one, Mac makes sure that Gina is taken care of during such an emotional time. He wants to see her as a friend, as the girl that he remembers from his youth. Unfortunately, the beautiful woman she has grown into has all thoughts of a platonic relationship flying out the window. Torn between honor and passion and peace or chaos, all Mac knows is that his life is never going to be the same.
The timing is all wrong but for two people fighting for control over their own lives, their response to one another is anything but.

Tour Stop & Interview - Revelations Coming by Glory Rabenaugh

Picking the brain of a hot, new, up & coming Paranormal Romance author, Glory Rabenaugh!

About the Author:
Glory Rabenaugh is a mother of two wonderful children, a soccer coach, an entrepreneur, and a business woman. She can easily read two hundred books in a matter of months, whip up traditional Japanese stir fry while listening to "Holy Grail" by Justin Timberlake/Jay Z, run around with the youngsters for two hours at soccer practice, and still manage to take an hour out for herself each week to get her lashes done. Glory was born, raised, and currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri. She has a bachelors degree in Business Administration and works in the healthcare industry.

Fangtastic: Tell us about yourself and your writing.
Glory: I'm an extremely shy and private person. I keep to myself, I don't do public engagements, I hate walking into a crowded restaurant by myself, I'm pretty sure I have a social anxiety disorder but I'm okay with that because that's me! I'm divorced with two amazing children. I was born, raised, and still reside in the suburbs of St. Louis. I'm half Japanese and half German and I'm passionate about passing on both cultures to my children. I love writing because it lets me live. It allows me to be someone that I'm not, experience things that I would never do, feel like the heroine that I'll never be. It is an escape and I love unique, original story lines that make you winder if they could actually be true.

Fangtastic: Do you write in multiple genres or just one? If just one, do you ever consider straying outside your genre?
Glory: My one true love is the paranormal romance genre. I do write some things in the New Adult category, but I'm always so tempted to throw in a dashing European vampire or ruggedly handsome werewolf!

Fangtastic: Are you a plotter or do you write from the seat of your pants?
Glory: I have a general theme/plot in mind but once I start writing sometimes that goes out the window. I' definitely a fly by the seat of my pants type of person in many aspects of my life!

Fangtastic: If you could keep a mythical/paranormal creature as a pet, what would you have?
Glory: A griffin for sure! My pet would have the eyes and ears of a hawk to see future attacks and hear plotting whispers, a vicious beak to blind those that attack me, and enormous wings that could take me anywhere I wished. I would run my hands across his lion body, reveling in the softness of his fur, the strength of the tone of his muscles. He would protect me like no man could and be loyal to his death. When I need comforting, my griffin would wrap his tail around me and shield me into his body like a mother would a babe.

Fangtastic: Tell us a little about your latest release?
Glory: "Revelations Coming" has been a favorite of mine to write and I hope my readers enjoy it as much as I have. Venus is a girl that you can root for. She's had such a tragic upbringing and you really push for her to find happiness. You will watch in amazement as she transforms from a broken, unloved teenager into a powerful, independent woman with a mind and needs of her own. She has been charged with the heavy task of choosing a mate amongst the princes of the two most powerful Vampyre bloodlines. The men of my series are all drool worthy. What is a paranormal romance without multiple love interests and Venus has them in spades! Michael is an Archangel of the highest order, send down to Earth to guide Venus on her path of choosing the correct mate. But the lust he feels for Venus sometimes clouds his heavenly judgment. Riken is the leader of the Rex Deus, the infamous bloodline of Jesus, struggling to maintain control over both his throne and Venus. Arias is the leader of the Descendants of Cain, evil that has birthed evil, who is determined to battle his demons to be a better man for his future Queen. Venus has both good and evil running through her veins, which bloodline will she choose in the end?

Fangtastic: What are some of your other hobbies outside of writing?
Glory: I coach my daughter's select soccer team which takes up a TON of my time. We are literally at practice every night of the week and you might as well cross the weekend off my list of free time too! No wonder I don't have time for a boyfriend! I also enjoy drawing fantasy art by hand. I have to be in the mood but when it strikes me, it's an actual surge of creativity that is screaming to get out. Sometimes I surprise myself with a finished piece of art and I'll store it and a year later find it again and barely remember drawing it.

Fangtastic: What is a talent you wish you had, but don't?
Glory: Dancing. I'm horrible at dancing! So, obviously I never want to do to a club for dates or with friends. I remember one of my girl friends dragged me to this Jamaican club where she's a regular. And she went up and told the DJs it was my first time there and they made me get in front of everyone and dance. It was horrifying and I'm sure the funniest thing ever to watch. What's even worse is when your man wants a striptease or you want to surprise him by dancing sexy and you start dancing for a few seconds and then realize he's looking at you crazy like, "What is she trying to do". Yeah...that's pretty embarrassing too!

Fangtastic: Favorite color?
Glory: Black. It is soft like the wings of a raven, cold like the pavement on a rainy Winter night, sharp like the edges of obsidian glass, as smooth as the satin sheets I sleep on at night, mysterious, haunting, incredibly sexy yet sophisticated. Black is my inner aura that pulses to the beat of my heart.

Fangtastic: If you could travel anywhere and do anything, no limits or money holding you back, where would you go?
Glory: Beauty inspires me. I would wade in the crystal clear waters of Fiji while my native hunk of a man waits to rub suntan oil on me in my open air hut by the water. I would sit lakeside in Glacier National Park with canvas and oils and paint the wonders of God. I would search for the ghosts of the kings of the past among the underground tunnels of the Egyptian pyramids. I would dance naked in the moonlight around Stonehenge. I would navigate the emerald waters off the coast of Thailand. I would parachute down over Dubai so that I can see the architectural genius of man. I would kneel down and pray in the Sistine Chapel while still being able to see its beauty behind closed lids. And I would be serenaded by a delightfully handsome stranger under the shining lights of the Eiffel Tower as snowflakes grace my cheek.

Fangtastic: Thank you so much for letting us pick your brain Glory. Readers please support an amazing Midwest talent and check out her trailer and book information below. Enjoy!

Revelations Coming
By
Glory Rabenaugh

Blurb:
A teen who has seen and experienced too much for her years, Venus is thrown into the dark and seedy underworld of the Vampyre Nation. Shocking revelations about the truth of Christianity, coupled with her coming of age romances aid Venus to discover more about her past and ultimately reveal what is to become of her future. Revelations Coming, the first installation in A Dark Truth Novel Series, will terrify you with the sadistic nature of both Vampyres and Angels and entice you with the not-so-innocent and increasingly passionate sexual encounters Venus endures.

Excerpt:
"Arias is here my lord," Corbin spit out breathlessly.
"Come Venus," Riken said already starting for the door.
She didn't hesitate and all but plastered herself against him. Venus knew to be frightened from Riken's earlier description of the Dark Price. He was enormous, dangerous, cruel. The embodiment of Satan himself. He led a bloodline full of sadistic, bloodthirsty vampyres and this was the one searching for her. She didn't want to meet this creature. They rushed out of the office, down a back staircase and towards a back entrance. Venus slammed into Riken when he stopped abruptly. She peered around him to see what was going on and Venus swallowed hard as a warrior filled her vision...one that could only be Arias Hassan.

She gasped, robbed of any breath. Lord, he was beautiful. Tattoos covered his massive arms and bare chest, his head was shaved bald. He was the color of chocolate sand and he emanated power and a call so strong and deep within her, her knees weakened immediately. He had nearly black eyes that started to swirl and twist like a turbulent ocean as soon as he saw her. His guards almost equally massive fanned out around him. It was clear that Riken and his crew were no match for these warriors.

"Come to me," Arias growled to her.
Venus' eyes widened as her body listened without hesitation. His command was like a direct line of energy to her chest, pulling her towards him. Riken pulled her against him creating havoc within her. Both of their blood was calling to her but Arias' was stronger. He was older than Riken, by nearly three hundred years. Venus unconsciously struggled against Riken's hold.
"No Venus, don't leave me," Riken pleaded.
"Come to me little one," Arias purred again.
Venus started forward again when she heard the click of a safety being thrown off. She turned her head to the side and watched horrified as Corbin palmed an enormous gun in his hand and fired at Arias.
"No!" she screamed, her power billowing out of her.

Her entire focus was on the path of that bullet. If she failed that bullet would find its way into the Prince's temple and while it wouldn't kill him, it would incapacitate him enough for Riken and his men to destroy him by severing his head. She refused to let that happen, no matter how bad that man was in front of her. The bullet dropped to the floor feet from Arias. Venus was breathing hard from the mental exertion that she hadn't used in over ten years, disbelief and relief flooding her body. Arias' jaw dropped slightly and his lips parted. He raised his hand to beckon her to him again. But Venus realized too late that it wasn't to beckon her to him, it was to stop her. Guns exploded around her from both sides. Venus trapped in the middle. She heard Arias' roar and she Riken's roar. Stop! She screamed in her head, thrusting her arms out. Her mental power that she had hidden and been ashamed of for so long, flooded out of her body, billowing her hair about her head.

Excerpt:
Planting her knees either side of his hips, she hovered, her hair falling to obscure her face as she fumbled around in his jeans pockets. A spasm of muscle moved under her palm and her eyes flicked to his face. Steel grey eyes stared up at her. Ash let out a little hiss and jerked her hands from his pockets.
'You know, Beautiful, if you wanted to sit in my lap, you only had to ask nicely.’
The intruder was awake. And she was stupid. Had she expected him to just stay dead? Of course not. In horror movies, the crazy guy always came back. He looked a little stunned, though, and she played the advantage. She reached for his hands like she was reaching for a cobra. One wrong move and he could have her neck snapped like a chicken’s. Settling her weight into her ass, Ash pounced. In a strike that looked far easier in the movies, she pinned his wrists over his head.
She let herself be deluded that it was her super-strength keeping the giant man on her floor, but in the back of her mind she knew her attempts were futile. He must be three times her size, at least. His lips quirked in what looked like amusement. No burglar should look so kissable. The bastard was playing with her, letting her believe she had the upper hand, when in reality, he was probably planning to kill her.
‘I’m all for a little rough foreplay,’ he said huskily, ‘but don’t you think knocking me out defeats the purpose? Unless you’re into the seriously kinky shit ... Is that it, Angel? You like it kinky?’ His tone was pure mischief. ‘You know I could have you on your back in a heartbeat, and I wouldn’t even break a sweat?’ he said.
‘Why don’t you then?’ she challenged.
‘Oh I’m going nowhere,’ he smirked. ‘I like the view from where I am. Just. Fine.’
Her furious gaze snapped to his, and the heat in his eyes had a flush crawling up her throat.
'Care to tell me with whom I have the pleasure?' he drawled, his lids hooding eyes that darkened perceptibly the longer he stared at her.
Ash glared back at him, hoping to burn a hole in his ... do not think ridiculously handsome ... face.  Man breaks into her house, and she was the one being interrogated? The guy had some nerve. ‘Who the hell are you?’ she demanded.
'I would be the one you just assaulted with a deadly -’ his gaze whipped to where the weapon lay abandoned on the floor, ‘-frying pan? God damn … Crazy girl.’ His lips pursed, and she knew he was fighting the urge to laugh out loud.
‘This crazy girl will happily use it again to bludgeon that smirk off your face,’ she retorted.
Their eyes connected and their wills locked horns. He gave in to his amusement and laughed in her face.
Oooohhhh ... infuriating burglar! Ash shoved at him hard, his laughter flexing his arms in her grip until he slipped her restraint completely. Her hands collided with a wall of packed in muscle that belonged in mythology. Even through the fabric of his shirt, the man was clearly ripped. No Musclemania steroid bulk, but hard, chiselled power, the kind of muscle a tiger owned, honed by hunting and killing and ... Probably not the best thread to follow there, girl. If he’s a killer, he isn’t going to start purring for you.
‘You can let me go, Angel,’ he said, ‘I promise not to bite.’

Becoming Bad (#2)

By Jess Raven and Paula Black
Genre: Urban Fantasy/ Paranormal Romance

Blurb:
How do you fight the monster when it is inside of you?

The black lake beneath Dublin’s medieval city holds a secret. Imprisoned there for millennia, an ancient race of demi-gods have found a way to the surface and are preying on humans to feed their sexual appetites. Hunted to near-extinction, these half-men, half-beasts have been without a single female to breed a new generation. Until now.

All her life, Ashling DeMorgan feared her dreams. She kept her head buried in ancient mythology, because the real world seemed so much scarier. On returning to Dublin to settle her invalid grandmother’s affairs, Ash discovered a city plagued by the same wolf-like creatures that killed her mother. Their bite is like sexual heroin and Ash has been bitten. Now she is trapped in a waking nightmare, with the monster who ordered the death of the only man she’s ever loved. Made to doubt if she ever really knew the assassin-turned-guardian who stole her heart and gave his life for hers, Ash finds herself betrayed by her own changing body.
In a dangerous world of suspicion and divided loyalties, Ash must come to terms with what she is becoming. Worse still, her infuriatingly arrogant captor may just prove to be her most unlikely ally in what will become a life and death race for survival.

MacTire, king of a once formidable race, has lived his life in the shadow of a half-brother who took everything from him. Connal Savage seduced his mate and engineered a genocide that all but exterminated their species. Finally, he has a chance at retribution. Connal’s woman is his for the taking. But are the bonds of brotherhood so easily severed and are the ghosts of the past ever truly dead and buried, or will they come back to haunt him?

Excerpt:

‘Don’t go getting hearts in your eyes, Wolf-Boy. What happened between us back in the temple was nothing.’
He pursued her across the room. ‘That was not nothing.’
Defiance kicked her chin up, made her brandish the red paddle brush more firmly. She set her face into its cold mask. ‘Less than nothing. About as satisfying as a good sneeze. I should have known all that pumped-up muscle was compensating for something.’ Her eyes dipped to where his lower half was encased in studded brown leather, and she quirked him a pointed look. Her lips curled in a smirk as his expression clouded and his stance shifted. Displayed to his full advantage, the King really was ripped, but his arrogance, and the creepy dead wolf draping his broad shoulders, evoked disgust more than feminine appreciation.
‘You lie.’ Mac’s jaw twitched.
‘Did I touch a nerve, Mac? Wounded your little boy ego? You can’t even compete with your brother. And he’s dead.’ Steel laced the last word, fortified by her ire.
Mac’s jaw hinged open in a gape.
‘Nobody has ever said no to you, have they?’ she said. ‘You think it’s your God-given birthright to be handed everything you want on a platter. You’re nothing but a spoiled, over-privileged brat.’
She jerked something from the pocket fold of her dress and his eyes followed the motion. Rebelliously, she fastened the cord around her neck, the coin nestling at the base of her throat.
The dare was all in her eyes: Come on, take it from me.
‘Connal was never ruined,’ she told him. ‘His adversity made him stronger, a real man, and that scared the ever living crap out of you guys, didn’t it? That’s the real reason you killed him. Get this into your thick skull, Mac. I. Don’t. Want. You.’
Mac ran a hand down his bristled jaw and the handsome bastard had the nerve to look smug. ‘I think the lady doth protest too much,’ he laughed.
Her hands flew up, grabbing the air in front of him like she was going to wring his neck. ‘Oh my God! Your arrogance never fails to astound me,’ she hissed.
The frozen snarl of his wolf-scarf mashed into her chest a second before Mac’s lips descended on hers in a vicious kiss, possession bruising her mouth as she was hauled up against the wall of his muscle. He rode the iron rope of his erection to her belly and heat bloomed at the apex of her thighs.
Son of a bitch. Every time.
